Due to limitations with Torque text (can't make text bottom-alligned) the first line of text touches the top of the screen. This is to have parity with the amount of text you can fit on a bottomPrint, adding a margin would mean making it intrude on the center of the screen or reducing the amount of vertical text available for text.
For modders: it is recommended to use the included gameConnection::TopPrint function instead of using the topPrint client command directly.
Includes 1 event: Client -> TopPrint (message, time, hide bar, fallback)
The fallback parameter controls where to send the message if the client does not have the Top Print mod installed (whether to send it as a centerprint, bottomprint, or not at all) | | |
