Every object in the map has been scaled including the terrain, which took some trickery to pull off.
To feel like regular size again, try scaling your player to 0.2x size too.
More than a decade ago I attempted to make this map, but since I had no idea what I was doing I was never even able to get a scaled-down bedroom saved into a map. It probably wouldn't have taken me so long to get back to trying it if the entire maps system wasn't removed.
This map is in the Bargain Bin because unfortunately due to issues with the Torque engine, there are some pretty obvious issues including:
- Fog had to be completely disabled, because fog is immensely amplified on an interior object when it is scaled down so much. It looked terrible with fog on unfortunately
- The bedroom interior disappears from view when you look at it from certain angles while outside. This can be really distracting
- Bricks inside of the bedroom interior can also disappear randomly. This is even more distracting
I don't believe any of these issues are able to be avoided. If you have any potential fixes for these then let me know.
Of course, you'll need the original bedroom map installed for this to work. Not like you'd ever want to remove bedroom. Ever | | |
