The Interceptor is an advanced jet fighter with VTOL (vertical take-off landing) capability. It mixes decent speed and maneuverability with the devastating firepower of four MAS Inc. Plasma Pulse Cannons.
Features:
-Flies like a plane
-Vertical take-off movement thanks to the Height Control Support script <3
-Good maneuverability and speed. (dive-bombing helps gain speed quickly)
-Four Plasma cannons. Each projectile dealing 35 damage (15 direct, 20 radius)
-Death/destroyed explosion effects and debris
-Rotor and weapon firing sounds.
-Wings animate when steering.
To come in a later veresion:
-Possibly better sounds.
-Balance fixes.
-Jet effects?
-Possibly some nifty variations.
-Improved firing: Plasma Cannons will burst-fire (like a bullpup)
-Maybe even more~
Flying tips:
While flying, if you manage to reach extreme speeds by dive-bombing and are unable to slowdown, you can make good use of the height control script and gravity to slow yourself down:
1- Point your nose straight up
2- press and hold the revers key (S) and descend key (LShift)
3- If you begin to stall, use the ascend key (Space) to slow your decent while you level-out the craft
Known Issues:
-Wings do not fade out properly when viewed from far distance with fog, and they also do not appear behind transparent objects and brick.
If anyone would be willing to inform me as to why this happens and how to fix it, I would very much appreciate it!

A game called Tread Marks- I used one of the sounds from this game as a base for the laser sound effects (demo of the game is freeware, I believe)
